This shelter was purchased for a family member's cat to shelter them from the rain and wind as there is no cat flap available. The cat (and owner) are quite particular about their likes and dislikes, yet both love the shelter - the owner does not have to wake in the middle of the night to let the cat into the house after months of fractured sleep. The cat now uses the shelter as her 'contemplarion pod' to enjoy the garden in the warm and cosiness of the shelter

The shelter was purchased with the self-heating pad and both have been well received. We looked into wooden cat shelters previously but there was always a concern about a wooden shelter in poor weather. This eco shelter is a great size; recessed to protect from rain and wind; heavy enough to not be moved by wind but light enough to be moved by a human with ease. The quality of the product is high and the design is very thoughtful - drainage holes and recesses. The recycled material used is an added bonus, as is the UK manufacturer.

I would certainly recommend a purchase and would advise spending a little extra when purchasing to get a good quality product.
