Designed to provide a snug retreat for hedgehogs, NestGuest features a safe and predator-proof entrance and well-ventilated sleeping area. Its durable construction ensures long-lasting use, while the use of recycled plastic waste showcases our commitment to reducing environmental impact.

NestGuest is made in Cornwall, England from recycled plastic waste with two moulded parts in a process called rotomoulding. It’s a low-waste manufacturing process that is perfect for production of hollow items like the NestGuest.

The two moulded sections simply fit snuggly one on top of the other – so there are no hinges, bolts or screws to rust, nor timber to rot. And the integrated design means there’s no fiddly external tunnel to attach. The top section creates eaves over the bottom so that rainwater runs off easily, keeping the inside nice and dry.

Excellent

This is very well made, it will be warm and dry I am sure and the plastic means that in the spring and before breeding it cam be cleaned and disinfected much better than wood to reduce parasite problems. I also eon’t have to think about replacing it an any point- it will never rot and the plastic is such food quality I don’t expect it will degrade or split either- a great product

Excellent Hedgehog House.

I am very impressed with the NestGuest Hedgehog House, it’s been very well thought out. Raised slightly off the ground, it’s made of robust recycled materials, good for the planet too! There is ventilation round the top to stop condensation, it also has small drainage holes on the floor area. a any wee will will drain out, the living area is spacious which means the hedgehog has room to make a snug warm nest it’s also high enough, that the hedgehog can put a substantial amount of materials below it and above it. Some hog houses I’ve seen are too shallow for a hog to really build a substantial nest for winter months. So this really ticks the boxes. . To get to the living space the hog will come through the doorway, through a lengthy tunnel. The nest guest is shaped like a wedge of cheese. So will nicely fit in the corner of a garden, or along a fence line, or tucked away under bushes. I run a hedgehog rescue and have seen a lot of different houses. This one really ticks all the boxes for me, best of all it’s not going to rot in the wet, it’s definitely waterproof, the lid is easy to lift off by sliding it up, which will make cleaning it out when the hedgehog isn’t in residence easy.
All in all I can honestly say, I recommend this amazing hog house, 100 %.
Anyone buying wouldn't be disappointed, I know the hedgehogs most certainly would find this Hedgehog house comfortable, spacious, dry, and ready to move in once some nice cosy soft and insulating barley straw bedding material and a few leaves are added. They won’t be able to resist, what’s not to love, happy Hedgehogs .

Excellent hedgehog house

This is a great house, the only issue is access at the back. It is really difficult and not easy at all. So if this could be redesigned will be excellent. Delivery was quick excellent service

Big, robust and durable

You need quite a large space for this, but if the plastic is as durable as they say, there wont be any worries with it falling to pieces.m Hedgehogs started using it straight away so it gets their thumbs up

Leaving the entrance accessible, it's important to assimilate your NestGuest Hedgehog House into the environment. Position out of direct sunlight and under foliage. Use plenty of leaf mould and logs to cover the structure while leaving the ventilation holes clear - then wait for prospective tenants!
Nesting area dimensions
The image shows dimensions and details the overall area of the nesting section. With only two corners, the nesting area provides more useable space.
Ventilation
