The Story of Puppy Pods
Inspired by the arrival into their home of a new puppy in 2011, the Roberts Family realised that standard puppy crates or cages were not fit for purpose, creating anxiety for the puppy and disruption for the rest of the family.
As many dog owners are aware, dogs share many similarities with wolves; their behaviour and needs being very similar, particularly for primal instincts such as selecting a suitable place of safety, to rest or to bear young.
They explored further into this instinctual selection process and based on scientific studies by experts in wolf and canine behaviour they started work on replicating a more natural 'cave-like' environment for dogs.
They created the first 'Puppy Pod' - a unique space which will benefit your dog and you, for life. Their designs - which now include pods for cats, chickens and small pets - have been featured in Tatler magazine, Countryman's Weekly and the Daily Telegraph among many others.
Now the Roberts' have partnered with Cosy Cabins to ensure their uniquely-designed pet homes can reach more families in the UK.
Medium and large sizes
In the foreground is a medium Pod, in Light Grey. Next to it is the large Pod in Pale Green. Both feature the detachable puppy grille which can be an essential part of helping your new puppy feel safe (and to keep your furniture and shoes in one piece!). Easy to remove once your puppy no longer needs it.
Easy to clean
These clips allow you to easily lift up the canopy for cleaning. They are replaceable if they should ever break.
Detachable grille
The puppy grille is detachable so you can remove once your puppy is acclimatised to your home. They can continue to use the Pod for years to come.
